The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, New York & West Hollywood, is fully accredited with the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST), an association of approximately 135 schools of theatre, primarily at the collegiate level. It is the national accrediting agency for theatre and theatre-related disciplines with links to the New York State Board of Regents.
The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in West Hollywood is a private institution and is approved for operation by the Bureau of Private Post-Secondary Education (BPPE). Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.
